Welcome to CDPD2, Volume 2 of the CDPD Public Domain Library
This Disk contains:
Fish disks 651 to 760 - the continuation from the famous Fred Fish
library.
Scope disks 1 to 220 - The Scope collection is another famous US PD
library, and the whole collection (to disk 220)
is present on this disc.
AB20 PD - Over 150 Megabytes of Public Domain files from
the NASA AB-20 Public Domain archive.
Use of the Shell, WorkBench and AmigaDOS are all documented in your
system manuals as supplied with your machine. Learning about these
makes life with your Amiga infinitely less frustrating.
With the Fish collection, an index program has been included. 'Kingfisher'
as it is oh-so-wittily called, resides in the 'KingFisher' drawer on this
disk, and allows you to search through the disk for software titles of
interest. Instructions for the use of Kingfisher are included with the
program. Once you've found a program, open up the relevant drawers from
the PD main drawer to get to it. Kingfisher does not act as a front-end
program launcher.
There's also an index for the Scope disks, which uses the older program
NewAqua as a search tool. This can be found in the drawer ScopeCat within
the Scope section.
To change the default text reader <if you haven't got a keyboard>, look in
the 'ToolAlias' drawer, click on the ToolAlias program to start it, and
select 'Use'.
Here is a list of the people who produced or helped the making of this CD.
Max Guidi: Compiled the disc, wrote the PD Copier (Fishrod)
Jolyon Ralph: Helped try and get the disc out on time (failed!), and
wrote the introduction sequence.
Updated for 10-Pack: THP & Bob.
